| adriane little | |
| Through photographs and video installation, Adriane Little’s visual work is presently visualized at an intersection of psychoanalysis and post-colonial theory through the lens of a feminist investigation of trauma and ritual. These ideas first presented themselves through an interrogation of a presence and absence of maternal bodies. The translation of this space is both literal and metaphor or the architecture of an ephemeral maternal space that is embedded within what she calls the matrilineal ghost. Her current work is expanding from this foundation by continuing to examine how the past or matrilineal ghost intersects with the present within technocratic cultures. |
