Please join us to celebrate the release of blind side, a collaborative publication produced by the Koffler Gallery and the Southern Alberta Art Gallery documenting the recent work of Michelle Bellemare. Provoking the body’s inherent reflexes, Bellemare’s approach is relational, experiential and phenomenological. As traces of bodily-based performances, the artworks animate the psychological residues of experience, lending form and voice to the inexpressible.

The 32-page catalogue documents two exhibitions, blindside at the Koffler Gallery, January 15 to February 29, 2004, curated by Carolyn Bell Farrell; and kilter at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery, September 18 to November 14, 2004, curated by Joan Stebbins. Official distribution by ABC Art Books Canada, www.ABCartbookscanada.
