Laura Moore - The thesis exhibition 1:12 is made up of three series of sculptural works; four marble carvings of up-scaled batteries and a USB, these works reflect on ideas of memory, energy and the environment, a series of limestone carvings, which explore human interaction and communication, and a series of soapstone carvings, which exhibit various technological hand-held devices.

1:12 is the ratio used when re-sizing the larger works.
