| A group of “students”, at the MACO art fair reconstructed the Blue Republic’s object Cambodia from Limited Activities, exhibited at the Peak Gallery booth. The object is a pair of flip-flops embedded into bag of plaster, which manages to symbolize in quiet minimalist terms, a small picture of the country’s violent past, chronic state of poverty and immobility. The object was reconstructed a number of times and sold by the “students” to the public in front of the art fair complex. | |
